Relief of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome in Manila

Chronic Fatigue, Always Tired, Fibromyalgia, No Energy

For years those suffering with what was previously called chronic fatigue syndrome had to deal with not only friends but doctors not believing what they were dealing with.  Individuals are accused of having  perfectionist personalities, maladaptive beliefs or even laziness. It was not until early February of 2015 the Institute of Medicine released a thorough report announcing Chronic Fatigue , also known as myalgic encephalomyelitis, is a real disease not one of psychological origin. Due to the widespread symptoms associated they also suggest the term, systemic exertion intolerance disease.

Symptoms include:

  • Diminished cardiovascular function, even after exercise

  • Slowed information processing in the brain

  • Orthostatic intolerance (lightheadedness, blurred vision)1

  • Fatigue

  • Disturbed sleep

  • Depression

  • Anxiety

  • Joint pain

  • Muscle pain 2

  • Stiffness

  • Swollen feeling in tissues

  • Headaches 4

While it is now recognized as a true and organic disease, the treatment for this disease does not exist in the medical profession. Medical doctors target symptoms through medications, nutritional supplements, dietary changes, consistent moderate exercise, cognitive behavioral therapy, and acupuncture treatment.3  Other successful alternative forms of care have been introduced or myalgic encephalomyelitis.  One of those forms of care is called upper cervical chiropractic care. This advanced form of  chiropractic care is provided by only a select few doctors across the world including Miguel Flores, DC Specialist of Manila, Philippines. The latest research is demonstrating that by correcting a misalignment in the upper neck, improvement in  various systems in the body are exhibited allowing the individual to have increased energy, less pain, and better sleep and quality of life. If you have been suffering with  Chronic Fatigue Syndrome or have been recently diagnosed, it is imperative you make an appointment with an upper cervical specialist.
