First Visit - Consultation and Examination

Welcome

Upon entering our office, our receptionist will  welcome you as a member of our family.  We will request that you complete our  patient forms located in the New Patient Center. This paperwork provides us with your health history and information on your condition.

Consultation

Next, you will have a consultation with the doctor to discuss your health-related problems, concerns, and health goals. This initial visit is designed for the doctor to learn more about you, your condition, and  expectations to determine how upper cervical chiropractic care can meet your goals.

Examination

After your consultation, the doctor will perform a complete chiropractic examination to determine if you have body imbalance and potential spinal misalignments. He will then use painless, state-of-the-art infrared technology called the Tytron Nerve Scan to determine if you have any underlying nerve damage. However, nothing will be done in our office without your consent.

X-Ray Studies

If your scan results show areas of concern, the doctor will then recommend specific X-rays to confirm two things: Whether or not we can accept your case, and to determine exactly what the cause of the problem is and where. An X-ray is the only way to know whether or not you have spinal misalignment and help us develop  the most effective treatment plan for you, and alert us of  any serious spinal conditions. Most people are amazed once they see their X-rays up close. In some cases, they can even identify their misalignments and degeneration themselves.

Because of the extra amount of time the doctors take to analyze and study your X-ray and exam results, chiropractic care is not administered on the first visit, and that is because there are two things that we will not sacrifice in the office- your health, and our reputation. We've worked too hard for both and as the saying goes, "To see is to know, and to not see is to guess". We would never want to guess when it comes to your health.
